A PHP app, running in this tab
The site below is WordPress 7.1, compiled from PHP to JavaScript by Loxodon. It runs in a Web Worker in your browser with SQLite in WebAssembly. After the first download (about 6 MB before the first page, the rest in the background) nothing happens on a server.
</> Code (top right) opens an editor over the site's PHP files, with the JavaScript each one compiles to and the raw output of a script, and a Terminal: php wp-cli.phar plugin install hello-dolly --activate fetches a plugin from wordpress.org into the tab (themes and language packs too: wp language core install nb_NO --activate), php artisan tinker is interactive, any PHP file runs with arguments and STDIN. Scratch in the site menu is a blank project for your own files, with examples for ZipArchive and HTTP, and Composer: php composer.phar require monolog/monolog installs from Packagist into the tab.
Works in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) and Firefox; Safari untested. Your changes stay in this browser's private storage; Reset starts over. Why Loxodon exists.
